Opening Statement

We are tired of watching this world crumble because people would rather wage wars, both of weapons and of words, over whose God is the correct one. They would rather wage wars than come together to fix the planet we have broken. The world religions even fight amongst themselves about which of them is the most correct. Christianity alone has 40 major divisions and currently estimated over 46,000 different variations spread between those divisions. Don’t forget that Christians and Muslims share the same origin story and the same Old Testament God. Oh, and Mormons believe in all the same things as Christians, but have a second book that is a continuation of the story. It is the same with the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Evangelicals, Amish, and even the Satanic Church; they are all tied into Abrahamic Religion at its core. Beyond that you have Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Islam, polytheistic religions, ancient religions, tribal religions, cults, and those who consider themselves just spiritual. There are also many groups of thinking who disagree with religion, those who don’t care either way, and those who fight against religion.

All of these different sects and variations all lead to one common thread, the division of all of humankind and the fear we have towards those who believe differently. We as The Mother of the Universe Church are tired of seeing this right in front of us everywhere I go. There are churches on every corner, for every religion, and they are all preaching against the church on the next corner down. Humankind has built up physical and invisible walls between ourselves all based on how we view the way the world was created and what higher power was responsible.

All of these religions follow strict rules and guidelines written down by men and women who others believe were chosen by their God to speak on the God’s behalf. Yet quite often in history we later find out that those people were shams and charlatans. So many people tricked into believing in something simply because they put their faith in someone who took advantage of it. Well I am here to ask for a change, and offer a solution.

The problem that most of those who disagree with religion have with religion is that it undermines the advancement of humankind’s ability to further understand the world around them. This issue is followed closely by every religions attempt to force their beliefs on everyone, with no regard for the others difference in beliefs. It is these issues that we have issue with as well and are here to try to rectify.

Another issue that comes up is that the further science unravels the mysteries of the world around us, the harder it is to believe the origin stories of our species as taught by religion. Hard to believe that life has only been around 6,000 years when it takes light from distant starts tens of thousands years to reach us.

There is also the fact that even with all these different beliefs, there is no one ultimate fact that proves that any one religion or scientific belief about the begging and the end of things is true. Everyone has their own interpretations on it and everyone is just as certain as the next person that what they believe is right and everyone who believes different is wrong.

So where does The Mother of the Universe Church fit into all of this? That’s a good question actually. We are an attempt to bridge the gap for those who deep down believe that there is a higher power but also see how science is unraveling religious beliefs left and right. We are here to tear down those walls, to pull science and belief in a higher power together. We are here to tear down the social constructs as to what defines a person, and bring together a group of people who are willing to learn and grow together.

First is our belief in The Mother of the Universe, and that The Mother of the Universe is a higher power who helped bring us all into being. As mankind’s reach into science and unraveling the mysteries of the universe deepens, it seems much more plausible that The Mother of the Universe didn’t form the world in 7 days, or that creation didn’t rise from the ocean, or that there was no alien interference. Evolutional theory can only go back as far as the big bang, however, that still leaves the question of how something could come from nothing. That is where The Mother of the Universe fits into the story.

Back before time began as we know it, The Mother of the Universe existed beyond the confines of time and space. We do not know where The Mother of the Universe came from, or where she is now, and honestly that part of the story isn’t important. We as humans focus way too much on needing all the answers to every question ever asked. We asked these questions and science led us back to the discovery of The Big Bang Theory. There is no way to trace what happened before that, so that is where our faith comes into play. The Mother of the Universe formed together all the building blocks of life in all its wondrous forms, and shoved them into being. This event, this creation of something where nothing had been before, is what science calls The Big Bang, and what we just call the beginning. The Mother of the Universe thrust all the building blocks and energy we would ever need into existence and then sat back and watched her creation come to life.

Time as it is for us exists because we found a way to track it. For The Mother of the Universe, time is not an issue, so setting events into motion that would take billions of years to change and form wasn’t a problem. For The Mother of the Universe, the joy of watching everything take shape, and life begin to form is the greatest of joys. Science has a saying, that life ALWAYS finds a way, but for us that saying is slightly amended. For The Mother of the Universe Church, the saying goes as such:

Life Always Finds A Way,

Because The Mother of the Universe

Refuses To Let Life Die.

Life is the single most wondrous event to ever happen. The fact that chemicals and minerals and raw elements could combine to make such amazing living and breathing and sentient creatures as we have here on earth should be proof enough of a guiding hand. There is no direct interference from The Mother of the Universe, she does not speak through chosen people, and in all honesty there is no way of knowing that any of this is the truth. Yet despite that, we still believe.

Why do we believe this with no proof? We believe it because we feel it in ourselves and every living creature around us. We believe this because we look at the world around us and see the beauty of creation and can’t accept it all as just an accident of nature. We believe this because we chose to believe in The Mother of the Universe who created all life to be wonderful and for all life to live in harmony. We believe this because deep down we are curious creatures who have reached the end of our understanding and therefore chose to believe in something greater than ourselves.

I, the one who is writing this, am no prophet. I am not a chosen one, sent here by The Mother of the Universe to spread her words. The Mother of the Universe has never spoken any actual words or images to me or to anyone else. I have no proof that anything that I am writing is true. All I have is a deep core feeling that there has to be a higher power. That there has to have been something outside of our understanding to create life where there was nothing before.

4 Core Teachings

1)

All life was created with a purpose, and all life was meant to live in harmony.

-To explain, our planet is an ecosystem, so are all other planets in existence. In order for life to continue surviving it must reach a balance with all other live around it. This is why some life eats other life, and some life makes its own food. We as humankind are the only creature on earth that does not seem to have the ability to reach equilibrium with the world around us. This must change before we kill ourselves off and the rest of the life on the planet finds a way to go in in spite of us.

-Human beings are naturally omnivore, which means that we require sustenance from animals and plants to survive. We as children of The Mother of the Universe take no fault in the eating of meat; however we fully understand those who wish to refrain from partaking of Animals for whatever the reason. We do not harass others for their dietary choices as long as they doing their best to keep themselves in the natural equilibrium of life.

2)

Social constructs are just that, social constructs. If they take away from any person’s inalienable right to be who they are, then it is a bad social construct. We are here to live and let live, as long as life and its continuation are respected.

-If someone who was born with XX chromosomes feels that they were meant to have an XY chromosome, then let them live their life that way. The same goes for anyone who was born XY and feels they should be XX. It also goes for anyone who feels that their chromosomes do not define what they are.

-If someone prefers the company of an individual of the same chromosome arrangement, then let them enjoy that persons company.

-Life’s continuation is only partially reproduction. Some parts of life are meant to reproduce, while other parts of life are meant to better their species. Not every ant gets to mate with the queen and continue their line, but they all work together to make sure their colony lives and thrives.

-Marriage is a commitment individuals make to one another to support each other regardless of what happens. Marriage should not be taken lightly, however marriage is still merely a social construct. In the rest of the world as we know it, there are some species that mate for life, some that mate with many, and others who solely mate to survive. Therefore, if people of matching chromosomes want to make such a commitment to each other, so be it. If people want to make such a commitment to multiple people, so be it. If some people don’t want to make that commitment but want to mate and further their line, so be it. As long as life continues, and we are furthering it for the betterment of ALL life, then let people live their lives.

3)

Right and wrong are not always universal, but living a life for the betterment of all other life around you should always be your goal.

-Murder is wrong because you are taking a life away from this world.

-Abortion is wrong once the child can live on its own outside the womb because then it is its own life.

-Lying and Cheating are wrong because you are not bettering any other life but your own and it usually leads to making life worse for everyone involved.

-Ravaging the earth for its resources is wrong when there are other ways to get energy that create equilibrium with the rest of the life on the planet.

-Using what the earth provides is the best way to go. Using natural drugs like Marijuana, Herbs, etc. are better than overpriced pharmaceuticals with a long list of side effects. Now there are times where pharmaceuticals are the only available answer, and that’s okay. The Mother of the Universe Church promotes natural healing as much as possible, but understands that natural healing can go only go so far.

4)

Love comes above all else always.

-The Mother of the Universe Church preaches love above all, and we mean it. The one thing every major religion teaches, that most seem to forget, is to love above all else. You cannot make the world a better place with hate.

-Help those less fortunate than you. There is nothing wrong with making money and taking care of you and yours. The problem is when you don’t help others out as well. No you don’t have to give away all your money to charity, but yes you should donate to charities. Buy a homeless person a meal, help a friend down on their luck with basic household supplies, and volunteer at local charities and places that help the less fortunate.

-Compliment others around you whenever possible. Nothing can brighten a person’s day quite like a compliment from someone when they weren’t expecting it.

-Give hugs and kisses and smiles and whatever else you can to loved ones (with full consent before hand). Give words of love and encouragement, and say I love you often as long as you mean it.

-Never go to sleep still angry if you can avoid it. Sleeping on anger solves nothing and usually makes the next day start on a bad note. Even if you can’t solve the problem at least try to get to a point where everyone involved is calm and ready to talk about it civilly.

-Avoid confrontation whenever possible, but only if a solution can be reached without it. Avoiding confrontation when there is no other way to find the solution is the wrong answer. We avoid that drama and confrontation which is unnecessary, but support you when it becomes necessary.

The Star Symbol

Every religion in the world has a symbol that they stand behind. Something to tell the world who they are, and stand out in the process. Our church has taken on this as our symbol:

The 8 point star of protection.

Now, since every symbol needs it's own deeper meanings, these are ours.
The points at Top, bottom, and sides, stand for the 4 core teachings of the church (here).
The points in between stand for how we view the life cycle of the universe (here).
Then large point in the middle is for The Mother of the Universe herself.

It takes the 4 core teachings, and the life cycle of the universe, before we can feel ourselves embrace the Mother and all that she has to offer us.

Key-Views

Aliens:

Our stance on aliens is that there is a high chance of them existing. With all the expanses of the universe, and all the billions of stars and even more planets, it is hard to think that life would only thrive on one single planet in all the expanse of the cosmos. Not only do we believe that they could exist, but we always welcome them go come here and meet us. We would love the opportunity to share our cultures and technologies and medicines with each other. It would be even more amazing to find life that is formed from other elements than our own; maybe they might hold the key to unlocking even more of the mysteries of life.

Other Religions:

The Mother of the Universe Church believes in a live and let live policy. We just also expect others to treat us the same way. You are welcome to believe whatever religion or anti religion you want to, with no flak from us. The point of The Mother of the Universe Church is to live and let live, love above all else, and further life in positive ways, so we will not put you down for believing different than us. It’s not so important on what you believe, just that you believe in something. Just remember that we expect the same from others so if you disrespect us and our beliefs then we will chose to stop talking to you rather than take on such pointless confrontation.

Conversion to our Beliefs:

Anyone and everyone are welcome to join us as believers of The Mother of the Universe and to study our teachings. We do not discriminate against anyone who wants to follow our ways. We do however ask that if you join, you take it seriously and follow all of the teachings. We do not take our beliefs lightly, and neither should you. We will not force our beliefs onto anyone else for any reason. We will not indoctrinate our children in our beliefs, but instead raise them to question everything and make up their own minds on what they believe to be true.

Sex:

The Mother of the Universe Church believes that it is not our business to get involved in what happens behind closed doors. Well, with a few exceptions actually. We agree that sex with children is wrong because they are not emotionally developed enough to make those kinds of decisions rationally. We deem children as anyone under that age of 16. The law of the land however will prevail and therefore if you are over 18 you should stick with others who are over 18. Yes it is different in other cultures, and in history, but we believe as a group that 16 is the age at which a person can decide for themselves if they want to become active or not.

We also believe in contraception and birth control. Yes we believe we were created to further life, however, furthering life for The Mother of the Universe only works when it is for the right reasons. Accidental life is still just as precious, but completely avoidable. We believe that such matters of pregnancy prevention should be easily accessible to all.

We also believe in consent when it comes to all forms of sex. Sex for pleasure is an amazing experience; however it needs to be amazing for all participants. That is why consent is everything when it comes to sexual activities. This again goes back to no sex with children and includes no sex with anything non-human, no sex with anyone who cannot consent, no sex with anyone who denied consent, and no sex with anyone who has removed their consent. That last one means that even if you are in the middle of sex, and they change their mind and want to stop, you must stop.

Individual rights:

When it comes to deciding who has what rights when it comes to women, minorities, etc., The Mother of the Universe Church have one thing to say about it. If you are human you have the same rights as other humans, no exceptions. We The Mother of the Universe Church do not care what the color of your skin is, or what sexual organs you were born with, if you are human than you are treated equal with all other humans. You are welcome to celebrate your heritage, and be proud of where you came from, but you will not look down on anyone else for having a different heritage or skin color or set of sexual organs than you. It will not be tolerated, and if members are found to be going against this belief they will be talked to and reprimanded. If it continues they will be publicly addressed so as to make a point to everyone.

Daily Prayer

Blessed is the Mother,

Who started this long ago.

She brought about existence,

And she guides life where to go.

May we find peace and harmony,

May we help to fix her earth.

Let us live our life for the betterment,

Starting at the moment of our birth.

Life, Death, Energy, Rebirth

The Mother of the Universe Church is not sure if there is an afterlife or not. Since there is no evidence of The Mother of the Universe ever speaking to a living being we have no way of knowing. For the Church, we believe the soul is a collection of living energy that gives you the unique qualities that make you who you are.

We believe that when you die, you go back to live with The Mother of the Universe to watch over creation. Then, when you are needed, your energy gets transferred into the things that were around you.  This is why most like to be surrounded by loved ones when they die, and why after someone you love dies you feel this surge to make something of your life with what time you have left. This is why animals seem to know when someone is sick and dying. They can feel the energy leaving you and want to protect you through the transition.

What is the point spending your whole life preparing to die when you can spend your whole life enjoying being alive? No matter what happens to us when we die life will continue on. So why not spend your life making it better for you and all other life around you?
