We are tired of watching this world crumble because people would rather wage wars, both of weapons and of words, over whose God is the correct one. They would rather wage wars than come together to fix the planet we have broken. The world religions even fight amongst themselves about which of them is the most correct. Christianity alone has 40 major divisions and currently estimated over 46,000 different variations spread between those divisions. Don’t forget that Christians and Muslims share the same origin story and the same Old Testament God. Oh, and Mormons believe in all the same things as Christians, but have a second book that is a continuation of the story. It is the same with the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Evangelicals, Amish, and even the Satanic Church; they are all tied into Abrahamic Religion at its core. Beyond that you have Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Islam, polytheistic religions, ancient religions, tribal religions, cults, and those who consider themselves just spiritual. There are also many groups of thinking who disagree with religion, those who don’t care either way, and those who fight against religion.
All of these different sects and variations all lead to one common thread, the division of all of humankind and the fear we have towards those who believe differently. We as The Mother of the Universe Church are tired of seeing this right in front of us everywhere I go. There are churches on every corner, for every religion, and they are all preaching against the church on the next corner down. Humankind has built up physical and invisible walls between ourselves all based on how we view the way the world was created and what higher power was responsible.
All of these religions follow strict rules and guidelines written down by men and women who others believe were chosen by their God to speak on the God’s behalf. Yet quite often in history we later find out that those people were shams and charlatans. So many people tricked into believing in something simply because they put their faith in someone who took advantage of it. Well I am here to ask for a change, and offer a solution.
The problem that most of those who disagree with religion have with religion is that it undermines the advancement of humankind’s ability to further understand the world around them. This issue is followed closely by every religions attempt to force their beliefs on everyone, with no regard for the others difference in beliefs. It is these issues that we have issue with as well and are here to try to rectify.
Another issue that comes up is that the further science unravels the mysteries of the world around us, the harder it is to believe the origin stories of our species as taught by religion. Hard to believe that life has only been around 6,000 years when it takes light from distant starts tens of thousands years to reach us.
There is also the fact that even with all these different beliefs, there is no one ultimate fact that proves that any one religion or scientific belief about the begging and the end of things is true. Everyone has their own interpretations on it and everyone is just as certain as the next person that what they believe is right and everyone who believes different is wrong.
So where does The Mother of the Universe Church fit into all of this? That’s a good question actually. We are an attempt to bridge the gap for those who deep down believe that there is a higher power but also see how science is unraveling religious beliefs left and right. We are here to tear down those walls, to pull science and belief in a higher power together. We are here to tear down the social constructs as to what defines a person, and bring together a group of people who are willing to learn and grow together.
First is our belief in The Mother of the Universe, and that The Mother of the Universe is a higher power who helped bring us all into being. As mankind’s reach into science and unraveling the mysteries of the universe deepens, it seems much more plausible that The Mother of the Universe didn’t form the world in 7 days, or that creation didn’t rise from the ocean, or that there was no alien interference. Evolutional theory can only go back as far as the big bang, however, that still leaves the question of how something could come from nothing. That is where The Mother of the Universe fits into the story.
Back before time began as we know it, The Mother of the Universe existed beyond the confines of time and space. We do not know where The Mother of the Universe came from, or where she is now, and honestly that part of the story isn’t important. We as humans focus way too much on needing all the answers to every question ever asked. We asked these questions and science led us back to the discovery of The Big Bang Theory. There is no way to trace what happened before that, so that is where our faith comes into play. The Mother of the Universe formed together all the building blocks of life in all its wondrous forms, and shoved them into being. This event, this creation of something where nothing had been before, is what science calls The Big Bang, and what we just call the beginning. The Mother of the Universe thrust all the building blocks and energy we would ever need into existence and then sat back and watched her creation come to life.
Time as it is for us exists because we found a way to track it. For The Mother of the Universe, time is not an issue, so setting events into motion that would take billions of years to change and form wasn’t a problem. For The Mother of the Universe, the joy of watching everything take shape, and life begin to form is the greatest of joys. Science has a saying, that life ALWAYS finds a way, but for us that saying is slightly amended. For The Mother of the Universe Church, the saying goes as such:
Life Always Finds A Way,
Because The Mother of the Universe
Refuses To Let Life Die.
Life is the single most wondrous event to ever happen. The fact that chemicals and minerals and raw elements could combine to make such amazing living and breathing and sentient creatures as we have here on earth should be proof enough of a guiding hand. There is no direct interference from The Mother of the Universe, she does not speak through chosen people, and in all honesty there is no way of knowing that any of this is the truth. Yet despite that, we still believe.
Why do we believe this with no proof? We believe it because we feel it in ourselves and every living creature around us. We believe this because we look at the world around us and see the beauty of creation and can’t accept it all as just an accident of nature. We believe this because we chose to believe in The Mother of the Universe who created all life to be wonderful and for all life to live in harmony. We believe this because deep down we are curious creatures who have reached the end of our understanding and therefore chose to believe in something greater than ourselves.
I, the one who is writing this, am no prophet. I am not a chosen one, sent here by The Mother of the Universe to spread her words. The Mother of the Universe has never spoken any actual words or images to me or to anyone else. I have no proof that anything that I am writing is true. All I have is a deep core feeling that there has to be a higher power. That there has to have been something outside of our understanding to create life where there was nothing before.
